Dapper -> Edgy
Das Upgrade von Ubuntu Dapper Drake zu Edgy Eft ist ein riskantes Unterfangen:
According to an informal Ubuntu Forum poll, 28.37 percent of users are having serious problems such as being unable to connect to the Internet, while a whopping 27.66 percent are unable to even boot successfully.
Letzteres ist mir auch widerfahren, deshalb empfehle ich, entweder bei Dapper Drake zu bleiben oder Edgy Eft frisch zu installieren, was ohnehin schneller geht. Bei der Gelegenheit bin ich auch R.’s Empfehlung gefolgt, für mein Home-Verzeichnis eine eigene Partition einzurichten.
